In business, there will always be times when we’re forced to step out of our comfort zone. When this happens, we are meant to appear super confident like we’re not terrified on the inside!

Needing a confidence boost is normal. It’s tough running a small business alone. Especially for those starting out or making big decisions within your business.
Instead, use comparison as motivation to become a better person and maybe even make your little corner of the world a better place. Remember that your list of comparisons are never ending. Even if you manage to succeed in changing this one thing about yourself that you think you need to, there will always be something to take its place. Shift the focus back to you, be proud of your achievements! Toot your horn for a few minutes!
Learn how to say no to others and yes to you! Take much needed breaks during the day. Cook a fabulous dinner at home with food you love! Also, never underestimate a good shower, a blowdry and a nice outfit. It’s amazing how these things can affect your feelings of self-confidence!
Replace those pesky negative thoughts with positive ones and ACT positive. More than just thinking positive, you must put it into ACTION. Advantages of positive thinking include less stress, better overall physical and emotional health, longer life span, and better coping skills.
“Train your mind to see the good in every situation”
All too often, when facing a problem, the first thing we tend to do is focus on all of the negatives in the situation! We continue to repeat patterns, doing the same things that aren’t working. Instead of fixating on obstacles and limitations, focus on solutions. This is one of the best things you can do for growth in confidence and your business.
Practicing gratitude can do wonders for your mind. Being grateful and positive can be a rewarding experience that will improve your self-image. It will also help you improve relationships, increase optimism and improve your mental health! Start with 3 things, small or huge, that you’re grateful for every day. Write them down on a piece of paper and start your day with positivity!
And of course..
It’s not always easy to be kind to ourselves 100% of the time but having compassion for yourself is so important. We over think our conversations, the way we look or the way we may have handled a certain situation. Self-compassion is all about accepting that you are good enough just the way you are! Talk to yourself like you would your best friend. You’ve got this!!!!
