In the world we’re living in today, business events and in person meetings are few and far between. But making sure you’re looking the part on your zoom calls is definitely still a thing! Being put together and looking your best boots confidence inside and out.
Self comparison is a KILLER of self confidence. Anytime you find yourself comparing you or your business to someone else, figure out why.
Don’t feel bad for unfollowing or taking a break from any person or business that’s making you feel less than. You’re here to do much bigger things than compare your success to someone else.
To take the pressure off, when you know you have a big trade event or a meeting with an investor or big client, make a checklist of everything you need to take with you. Then, think about what you’ll discuss and anticipate any questions they may ask. Knowing your brand and having faith in it will help you stay calm and beam with confidence.
It’s easy to let things slide when you’re a solo-preneur because you don’t have anyone else to answer to but well, yourself. Especially since we’re not seeing many people in person at the moment.
You and you alone are responsible for your own success. Sure, it’s a huge pro but it can also be a really big con.
