Last week we talked about “How to Make your Goals Realistic and Attainable” and now I want to talk a little more on using my 90-day business goals method and how to implement your plan.
Like I said, I’m a HUGE fan of breaking your year up into 90-day blocks! It works for me and it will work for you too.
When writing out your 90-day business goals be sure to use SMART goals! I’ve expanded on these below;
Your goal should be clear and specific, otherwise you won’t be able to focus your efforts or feel truly motivated to achieve it. When drafting your goal, try to answer the five “W” questions:
It’s important to have measurable goals, so that you can track your progress and stay motivated. Assessing progress helps you to stay focused, meet your deadlines, and feel the excitement of getting closer to achieving your goal.

How to Implement your SMART Goals
SHARE
Share your goals with a small group of friends to create a supportive network. Researchers say that sharing your goal does more than keep you accountable, it also makes you more motivated, simply because you care what your friends and network thinks of you.
MAKE IT VISUAL
Publish your goals! If your goals are “Out of Sight” then they most likey will be “Out of mind” and you can easily forget them. Try printed copies or posters above your desk for you and your support group to see.
